Membership meeting
Next up is the clubs General Membership meeting at the WFCU Center in the Ontario Room on the second floor of the community center on Sunday Feb 12th at 10:00am to 12:00pm to go over the 2012 season's schedule ,rules ,classes ,etc . This meeting is also open to the public for anyone wishing to join or get involved in the great sport of racing .

The clubs offseason Promo Schedule is filling up quickly and we are looking for drivers/teams and show room ready karts to put on display at various locations during the off season months .Please contact (ppkc_09@hotmail.com) for more info. High school students will qualify for community service hours through the club .

12/01/23 2011 PPKC Champions

On Saturday January 21st 2012 Pelee Karting Club held its Annual Recognition Banquet for the 2011 race season. More than 120 local racers and their families attended the Roma Club of Leamington to recognize their peers and celebrate a successful 2011 race season. The club presented a slide show of the 2011 race season that the guests could enjoy. After dinner was served it was time for the recognition of our drivers. To add to the suspense we mixed in draws from our ample prize table; covered with donated prizes from our generous sponsors. A big hats off to the staff of the Roma Club and Banquet Hall for superb service and food. Along with Championship trophies, supporters in attendance were presented with plaques of appreciation.

A good time was had by all, and we are anxiously awaiting the 2012 racing season.

12/01/02 Condolence to Jason Papp and his family from the PPKC family

FABBRO, GIANNI (JOHN) Suddenly at his home in Sebright on Friday December 30, 2011, at the age of 63. John , beloved husband of Barb . Loving father of Lisa Fabbro of Vancouver and step-father of Jason & Sophie Papp of Leamington and Jaime Lee & husband Jeff Hepton of . Loved grandfather of Patrick, Tyler & Christian. Survived by his sister Grace Fabbro of Quebec. Dear uncle to Marco & David. Will be missed by his family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Goldwater St. E16 . Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Thursday January 5 18 th from 6-9 P.M. and on Friday January 6, 2012from 12 noon until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1 o’clock. Cremation to follow. If desired memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Due to a large number of the clubs racers heading to Florida to take part in The Florida Winter Tour races the banquet has been moved out one week to Sat Jan 21st 2012.
